An alternative to poisons and traps, the Molechaser effectively targets moles, voles, shrews, gophers, and other destructive ground rodents. The device emits an underground sonic pulse of 300 Hz at 15 second intervals and covers up to 11,250 square feet (1/4 acre). Rodents find the noise irritating and leave the area, but pets are not affected by the sound. The Molechaser is constructed from a single billet of aluminum and features a watertight control head that can be buried flush with the ground for easy mowing. The batteries can be changed without removing the device from the soil.

Most underground rodents have poor eyesight, yet nature has given them a very acute sense of hearing and sensitivity to ground vibration. The VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® exploits this sensitivity to produce a penetrating vibration over an area of approx. 13,500 sq. ft. (1/3 Acre) at 18 second intervals.
VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® is completely harmless to worms and other underground bugs.
VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® operates in a circular pattern, approx. 130 ft. in diameter. This must be an unobstructed 130 ft.
Place VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® at site of worst rodent infestation.
Remove VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® if ground freezes or when flooding occurs.
Replace battery after approximately 4-6 months or when sound is no longer audible.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To open, unscrew top cover counter-clockwise.
2. Remove Battery Box and insert 4 X D cell batteries as indicated. If battery installation
is correct, you should hear the first vibrating sound within 18 seconds.
3. After ensuring battery installation is correct, replace Battery Box and tighten Top Cover
to ensure 100% maximum weather protection.
4. Insert VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® into the ground fully or up to the Corrugated Portion. Your
VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® will work Day and Night.
5. If you prefer, you may insert the unit all the way into the ground. This will prevent the chance of running over the unit with your lawnmower. If you choose this option be certain to insert the unit so that the top of the top cover is flush with the surface. If you leave
it protruding an inch or two it could be a tripping hazard. Be sure to note the location of the unit so that you can find it to replace batteries or remove it for the season.
The Unit will work for 4-6 months on one set of alkaline batteries. To replace batteries simply repeat steps 1-3.
Please note damaged lawns, shrubs, etc will take up to 6 weeks to rejuvenate.
Climate permitting, leave your VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® in ground to repel new generations of
pests.

IMPORTANT:
Top cover of VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® must be tightened again after insertion into the ground so there can be no possibility of water damage.
Make a pilot hole before inserting VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® into hard ground. *DO NOT HAMMER OR PUSH EXCESSIVELY OR YOU MAY DAMAGE UNIT.
Range of effectiveness depends largely upon soil type: Dry, sandy, or peat soil does not conduct the vibrant sonic wave easily and sometimes two
VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® may be required. Moist clay is the best conductor of sound.
Do not expect instant reaction – VIBRASONIC MOLECHASER ® must be used continuously for up to 7-14 days before ground rodents start to move away from the area.
