Whether you need to inspect the chimney from the roof or from below through an inspection opening, the Wöhler VIS 500 Inspection Camera is the perfect choice. It is a reliable system with state-of-the-art technology from a trusted specialist. Even in sooty chimneys, the camera LEDs and additional lighting ensure that everything is well-illuminated, giving you a clearer view than others. The interchangeable camera heads make it suitable for all applications. Controlling the pan and tilt camera head is easy with the keypad, allowing you to have a complete view of everything. The monitor provides sharp, true-colour images that show every detail, eliminating the need for assumptions. Your inspections will be based on facts that you can confidently present to your customers. You can save images and videos in the camera’s internal memory or on a USB stick, which you can conveniently hand over to the customer if needed.

For the inspection from above, you carry the monitor in the secure carrying strap system in front of your body so that you have both hands free. If you are inspecting from below, you can operate the camera directly from the practical case. The system has a modular design, so that you have the camera to hand in just a few easy steps, just as you need it for your upcoming assignment. Incidentally, we know your everyday life and have thought of everything: You don’t have to be squeamish with the Wöhler VIS 500. If the camera rod is dirty, simply remove the reel and rod from the case. Then rinse the case and reel with water. It couldn’t be easier

One important factor to consider with this system is the signal from the camera head to the monitor is transmitted through a rubber cable allowing for more flexibility and movement within a confined space, therefore if the cable either twists or bends it’s unlikely to snap.

operate with just a few buttons. You can swivel and rotate the monitor, and it can be detached from the case up to 2 m away.
Position, angle and digital metre display: The camera head’s position inside the tube is shown directly. The length of the camera rod as it uncoils is electronically recorded and displayed in the image.
Voice comments: Voice commentary can be added via headset during video
