Application of 8838 AZ HACCP IR + Pt 100 Thermometer
The 8838 AZ HACCP thermometer is designed to combine non-contact IR thermometer and a RTD penetration probe. This enables both surface and internal temperatures measurement with the same meter. Its timer and temperature zone indication make the meter particularly helpful in conducting a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) program. HACCP is a preventative approach to food safety used at all stages of food production and preparation processes.
The 8838 AZ digital cooking thermometer has flip RTD (Pt100) external temperature probe. It provides an accurate result when inserted into meat or other solid products. The probe can also be used as a stirrer to achieve temperature equilibrium. You use its IR infrared temperature sensor to easily and safely determine high temperatures. The illumination beam highlights the measurement area.
The 8838 AZ digital kitchen thermometer is designed to follow HACCP principles. The unit has IP65 water proof rating. Use it in the food processing industry, bakery or home kitchen.
