  • TVOC, PM2.5, CO2, Humidity (COM and NC): These represent outputs for common indoor air quality sensors:
  • TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds): Measures gases emitted from various sources like cleaning products, paints, and furniture.
  • PM2.5: Measures fine particulate matter, tiny particles less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter that can be harmful if inhaled.
  • CO2 (Carbon Dioxide): Indicates air freshness; high CO2 levels can indicate poor ventilation.
  • Humidity: Measures moisture content in the air.

DC Power Supply & Wall-mountable Desigin
With DC 12V/2A input voltage, it will start working after being switct on. And with wall-mountable design, it can be put on desktop or har on the wall.Better help to detect the air quality.

Smart Air Quality Monitor & Controller

control output TVOC-PM2.5-CO2-Humidity
Control output for TVOC, PM2.5, CO2, Humidity

Indoor air quality (IAQ) controller with outputs for controlling various functions and receiving sensor data. Let’s break down the components:

Outputs:

  • 485 (+ and -): This refers to a RS-485 communication interface, used for connecting the controller to a monitoring system or other devices. The + and – outputs control the signal polarity.

Sensor Inputs:

  • TVOC, PM2.5, CO2, Humidity (COM and NC): These represent outputs for common indoor air quality sensors:
  • TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds): Measures gases emitted from various sources like cleaning products, paints, and furniture.
  • PM2.5: Measures fine particulate matter, tiny particles less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter that can be harmful if inhaled.
  • CO2 (Carbon Dioxide): Indicates air freshness; high CO2 levels can indicate poor ventilation.
  • Humidity: Measures moisture content in the air.
  • COM (Common) and NC (Normally Closed): These are relay contact outputs that switch between COM and NC depending on the sensor state.
  • COM indicates active or detected pollutant by the sensor.
  • NC signifies no pollutant detected or sensor inactive.

Overall Functionality:

In general, the controller might function like this:

  1. The IAQ sensors (TVOC, PM2.5, CO2, Humidity) continuously monitor the air quality.
  2. When a sensor detects a pollutant exceeding a certain threshold, the COM output for that sensor switches from NC to COM.
  3. You might be able to configure the controller to trigger actions based on the sensor outputs. For example, it could increase the 485 output (+) to signal an external ventilation system to increase fresh air intake.
